Meditation
Delivered
Meditation
Delivered is a 6 week course in meditation that incorporates theory
as well as practical exercises. Each class runs for 60 minutes and consists
of 30 minutes of theory and 30 minutes of meditation. This 6 week course
teaches in a simple and practical manner what meditation is, how to
do it and how it can be used to manage stress. In particular participants
are taught how to detach from stressful thoughts and upsetting moods
and in doing so create a calm mind and body. The result of this is the
ability to manage day to day stress more effectively. There is a different
subject and type of meditation practice taught each week giving participants
a broad understanding of meditation as well as the benefit of experiencing
some of the different ways of meditating - equipping them with the knowledge
and tools to manage and reduce stress long after the course has ended.
Our
teaching style is relaxed and informal and class numbers are kept small
so that there is sufficient time to cover any questions or individual
guidance required. Each participant is encouraged to find their own
level of competency in the practice as everybody's experience of meditation
is different.
To
get started all you need is a group of up to 15 people and a quiet,
clean space - the average boardroom, staff or meeting room is ideal.
Classes can be conducted anytime across the working day, including sessions
at lunchtime or before and after work.
